How do I find student groups related to my career interests?

Groups always have plans and need help executing them.

Here are a few ways you might get experience:

•Executive board members may ask for help during meetings.

•You may approach executive board members to ask them about projects that need an extra hand.

•If all of the planned projects for the semester are covered, think of a project of your own to propose to board members or committee chairs. Then, offer to take the lead.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a freshman or senior – your involvement can help the whole group (and give you additional experience).
